Under 9s, Season 2009/10

Our first season was a successful one both in terms of player and team development. We finished 3rd in the Accrington & District Junior Football League under 9s section and were also runners up in the League Cup final. Considering that several of our players had not played in a structured team before, the improvement by both individuals and the team were very pleasing and towards the end of the season we really were a joy to watch, this coupled with a league season which ended with 8 wins from the final 8 games which was a tremendous achievement. Well done!!
